MCAA

Certification System

A certificate is a measured fact, not a marketing badge. Four tracks cover products, people, and places of business.

Overview

MCAA certification verifies that a product performs as claimed, or that a professional or business works to the association's published criteria. Every certificate is tied to a protocol version, a test record, and an expiry — and can be checked in the public directory.

Certification is voluntary and open to any brand or business willing to be measured. No membership, sponsorship, or partnership affects the outcome.

Certification tracks

Four tracks, one bar: published criteria, verified in person or in the lab.

Product certification

Lab verification that a product meets its published specifications under MCAA protocols — with the report to prove it.

Installer certification

Individual certification through practical assessment: electrical safety, mechanical installation quality, and system tuning.

Dealer certification

Recognition for retailers whose advice, product handling, and after-sales practice meet MCAA criteria.

Workshop accreditation

Facility-level accreditation covering equipment, processes, safety, and the presence of certified installers on staff.

How certification works

The same four stages apply to every track.

  1. 1

    Apply

Submit the application for your track with the required documentation.

  2. 2

    Assess

MCAA reviews the submission and schedules the lab test or practical assessment.

  3. 3

    Verify

Testing or assessment runs under the published criteria; results are documented.

  4. 4

    Certify

Passing candidates receive the certificate and enter the public directory, with a defined validity period.

Certification directory

A public register of certified products, installers, dealers, and accredited workshops is part of the certification system's launch scope. Each entry will show the certificate's track, protocol version, and validity — searchable by country and category.
